Waiting list information
Due to current demand, we now have a waitlist for therapy and assessments.
Currently, the wait time to access our services can range between 6 to 12 weeks. At times, this can be longer or shorter. Quirky Kid is not able to provide emergency services. If you are in an emergency, please call 000.
You need to explicitly request to be added to the waitlist by completing an application online. Our team may call you soon after your application to obtain additional information.
Your place on the waitlist is based on multiple factors, such as:
- clinical issues
- availability and team members best suited to your referral
- changes to our team
Consultation Offer
Once we are able to accept a new referral, we'll let you know
via email or by phone. You will be invited to book at least five appointments including:
- 1 x Initial Parent Only Consultation
- 3 x Child Only Sessions
- 1 x Parent Feedback (30 minutes call)
You can choose not to book the sessions in advance, however, this may impact on the availability and frequency of your intervention. In terms of available appointment times, after school bookings are often very limited.
