School Holiday Workshops: FAQs
Do you offer snacks?
Yes, children are provided with fruit, water, and juice during a 15-minute break in all workshops lasting more than one hour.
Is there parking at the clinic?
No. However, street parking is available on surrounding streets.
Is individual feedback included at the end of the program?
Individual feedback after holiday workshops is not included. You can book a 15-minute feedback session following the workshop, which will be charged in accordance with our Schedule of Fees. You will receive general group feedback from the facilitator following the workshop, via email.
Do parents stay for the duration of the workshop?
No, however, we do encourage a parent or caregiver to come in, see the clinic and meet the group facilitator(s) at the beginning of the workshop. All workshops are for children only, to ensure a positive group dynamic and a safe and private environment for participants. There are parks and cafes surrounding our clinics if you wish to stay in the area whilst your child participates in the group.
What if my child has a diagnosis?
Children diagnosed with an ASD, extreme anxiety or challenging behaviour should only register for a workshop or program after attending an individual session with our psychologists. This helps to ensure suitable preparation and that resources are allocated to facilitate a positive outcome.
Do you offer refunds?
Tickets are non-refundable, transferable or exchangeable. Please ensure you choose your workshop carefully and that you are available at the date and time of your booking as the change of circumstances is not a reason for a refund.
Can I claim my child's workshop on Medicare?
No. Workshops are not covered by Medicare. You can find out more about what services are covered by Medicare here.
Who is running my child's workshop?
Sessions are facilitated by experienced and suitably trained psychologists or facilitators.
